Very heavy silverfish damage to cloth (most severe to spine). Silver decoration and lettering to front still clear and bright. Heavy foxing and small stains to edges of page-block. Moderate foxing to preliminaries and last couple of pages. Otherwise internally, pages very clean. A tape repair between ffep and half-title page. A couple of tears to front hinge but binding secure. Pastedowns and one side of feps are black and appear to have been replaced. 336pp plus xviii advertisements.
